Popular Post Stabliofarmer
Recently completed the third type of trailer Fruehauf offer, a smooth sider sloping body, rather than the step frame style. Also this pair of Wilcox trailers left at the same time. One paired with a Volvo FH conversion, the other will be going on an FH04, Marge or Welly, whoever gets them done first. One or two choice words were muttered applying the decals for this, went through five sets of decals before they went on right! 11
Popular Post Stabliofarmer
These all feature suspension, wheels and mudguards of own design, which I had SLA 3D printed then resin cast from the printed masters, really pleased to have an accurately scaled set of BPW rims and the accuracy of the printing means mudguards and tyres line up correctly. 11
SPN
If I go for an FH04 I will definitely have to talk to you about a grain trailer to put behind it.. Top marks.

JEP
Brilliant builds again James, they look the business!! How did you find getting the telescopic aireal down to size, l find that quite a fiddly job, cutting to size/drilling and trying to put those awkward little copper type shims back in place..... Stabliofarmer
Just now, JEP said: Brilliant builds again James, they look the business!! I got really lucky this time and the aerials I ordered where just short enough to fit straight in. I did however take all the photos on how I go about cutting one down to make a guide for it a while ago, will did them out and write it up.

Popular Post Stabliofarmer
Next batch is a go! After seeing the way Ian/Tab builds using resin for most fabrications I've given it a try with these, hoping it'll speed up the process while creating a consistently higher detail model
Dusty Dan
Great looking trailers and trucks. I can see how decals like that could be difficult to apply.

Stabliofarmer
Realised I never shared any of the finished bulkers from the batch I was building above, some of them where standard as I've built previously, but there where a few different ones including a Harbro with blower pipes at the rear. 4
Stabliofarmer
Also stumbled across some more photos of them being built. I'm hoping to have some interesting news regarding a model kit for a bulkers soon, just need to get home and get a proof of concept sorted! Thanks for looking! 5
