Cheers guys

Think i'll be trying a Scania 143 cab for the Heller Volvo Chassis before touching the Bedford but it's catalogued ready to do now.

Instruction build is now completed so should be able to get them written up in my dinner break. Thinking a wooden stock box for the back of this one

Instructions finished so they're ready to order!

Price is £30 for the cab kit, or or £50 for the cab and chassis, postage is included in the cost.

If admin don't want the pricing/advertisement on here I'll happily remove it and just update with builds of the kits as they are done.

Not had a chance bar cutting down a britains chassis to fit it onto to, that said it looks a little big so i may yet make my own , just not had time since due to work, bbq’s and starting the new shed

I take it from your experience with it Sean that there will be a fair bit of work to convert a Britains MMB tanker to accept the cab.

It fits and the cutting was simple enough but somehow doesn't look quite right , may just be due to it just being a hack and test stage at the mo, not properly fitted and mounts made , plus the body i have already made for a stopped project is a bit to wide for it, throws it out a bit

I would love to see anyone's progress photos! Either in this thread or one of their own

They are a very small vehicle, and I'm not sure there are any existing bodies out there that would truly suit the cab. The more digging I do the more unsure I am that they were ever available with wheels the size of the Britain's Iveco Deutz, I'm starting to think the wheels supplied currently with the kit are the largest Ford fitted, and that they only did a smaller variety, however I cannot say that with 100% certainty.

I will hopefully have two completed models to show soon, a week off at GDSF, three more days of placement and then I move home, back to the 'sacred shed' where I can really crack on and motor through the paint and finish of all the builds I currently have on the go.

I move back to uni at the end of the month and won't be taking alot of model making stuff with me, for this reason the D series kits won't be available from 18th September until I'm back home for Christmas break in mid December, so if you are after one let me know.

Nice work,But hate to be a wet blanket,But the mirrors on ALL D series were straight up and down,Sure I meant to mention that to James at the time,#

Regards

Joe.

I would have to disagree there Joe, plenty of them with mirrors down then in. I don't know if any are standard, but given some are on a brochure I assume they are factory fitment.
