robertw1
Thanks for all the links, I have been drawing up plans for making some. although I won't be making any for a while as a family friend was selling his 1:35 collection of war stuff to go down to 1:72 and had some old tamiya and air fix grids with stuff like the odd shovel etc.. one of the best things is that there are the odd bits from some modern warfare people, any way pictures tell a 1000 words. The morning before me and my family went to see him, I bought a packet of Gerry cans etc.
jack939
I bought a pack of those tamiya jerry cans and barrels a few weeks ago very good. I thought they were that good I bought another pack last week.
robertw1
Just a small update as time has been short recently. Got the stable doors back today from the local chippy, after he repaired the rot at the bottom etc. The farm cat keeping an eye on things. Fitting the door in place. The finished doors, will just have to paint them now.

robertw1
Thanks for all the comments they are really inspirational. Got the two barn doors back from the chippy today, had two take the ifor as they wouldn't fit on the back of the landy.(note the ratchet strap) Unstrapping the load. The farm cat is coming out to have a look.
robertw1
Unloading the doors, could only just lift them by hand. Making some room in the barn to lay them down as they couldn't be fitted as the wrong size hinges were bought. Cat didn't like the fact he had to climb to the top of the barn to sleep now. Stabliofarmer
What's the tarpaulin made from? it looks really good
robertw1
The tarpaulin is made from a disposable shopping bag. sometimes you can get them darker on the out side than on the inside, like the real ones.
robertw1
The chippy turn't up to drop of some hinges for the doors today.
robertw1
Some pictures of the doors being hung. Decided in the end it was easier to get help from the forklift.

robertw1
The neighbor dropped by this afternoon to lend us his new Rolland cattle trailer, so the cattle can be moved up towards to hill. The reason we had to borrow it is that the only means of transporting cows is with the ifor and that would take many trips.
Deere-est
Those doors look great, nicely made. Smart trailer nextdoor have got too, very fancy bit of kit. I must sat, nice to see the pallet tines on the JCB tilted onto the floor for safety too.
robertw1
Safety is the most important thing I think. In real life on the farm I always put the forks and bale spikes on the ground just general practice I think. £30 for the trailer, barging I think.
