A package arrived from Russia this week. French firm Hachette has now started a new publication in Russia as well with magazines and a toy model in 1/43rd scale. I quite fancy the unknown and have a soft spot for everything Eastern Bloc. This is the first issue with an Belarus MTZ 50 model. The magazine is really nice but of course unreadable (to me). Cost me 5 euros :)

Neils,

I got that model as well but without the magazine through ebay. Have you subscribed to the magazine or is there somewhere it can be ordered. I also like the unusual models and I see that issue 2 is a crawler

Mike, I have seen them on Ebay as well but stupid prices! I haven't subscribed but I just happened to come across a Russian chap on Twitter and asked him if he could send one and he did. Took a while especially as Paypal doesn't work to Russia apparently? So I had to use a bank transfer which I had my doubts over but he did get the money in the end..

The first six models are listed in the magazine. Crawler now and third edition is a T16 tool carrier. Fourth is a Russian (license) build Farmall. Also the MTZ 80 they will cover.

Just ordered three new Fendt models. The new UH Fendt 313 and Fendt 724 S4 and Wiking's Fendt 828. All new Tier 4B models. Usually I don't do dealer boxes and first editions but since my missus works at the local dealership I got a good deal on them.  I am very curious about Wiking's new 828 which should come with a screw driver and removeable wheels? Is quite needed as the standard tyres are awful!
