mb86
What an amazing collection Paul. The models look stunning and your custom models give the collection a nice personal touch. I keep being tempted by some 1/16 models but I am trying to stick to 1/32 or else I wouldn't know where to put it all.

Valley Axe Man
Cheers for your comments Martin and Chris Keep adding bits now and again but not set to and built anything for my own collection for a good while, but I've a few ideas and had a bit of useful info of Paul (Super6) so maybe this summer i'll get something built your right though Martin...... at 16th they do take up a hell of a lot of room Glad the harrows take you back to days gone by Chris, memories is one thing that no-one can take away from you Edited April 1, 2015 by Valley Axe Man
Popular Post Valley Axe Man
A little update to the collection after the postman delivered a rather small but well packed box this week off Andy at Classic ..... First up a linkage mounted Browns silage feed pusher...... .... Along with a second set of ZigZag harrows, this time a 2 section set with different tines to the existing 3 section set, but again no OEM....... ..... And lastly a second set of Parmiter Force 8 discs, this set having all scalloped discs and the heavy bolted on drawbar for building up the tillage train behind the 974 when not on forager duty
chris.watson
The detail on these models is jaw dropping Paul. Very nice indeed.
Valley Axe Man
Cheers Chris, I sure there be a few more models to come too Though all credit for them has to go to Andy, as doing the job that I do I understand bending tolerances, forming, machining, fitting and to some degree pattern making and casting, but some of the things Andy achieves in 16th scale.... we'd struggle to do full size on our machines at work.
Popular Post Valley Axe Man
Latest addition to the collection appeared in a well packed box.... via Royal Mail this week A Parmiter swing round, rope driven post knocker by Andy at Classic, features working turnbuckle adjustment of the mast, opening post clamp and moveable hammer and driver arm, finished in Parmiter orange, Andy also does a chain driven version finished in Parmiter blue, the more popular of the two versions that he builds, so maybe a blue one will appear in the fleet sometime in the future......
mb86
Wow, that is fantastic. If it wasn't for the table top it would look like the real full size machine.
Valley Axe Man
Cheers Martin Aye Andy certainly knows how to get the best into a model to get it as life like as possible..... He's one skilled craftsman

Valley Axe Man
Cheers Erik and Justin , Sure Andy will appreciate the comments about his work when I next speak with him Yet another welcomed addition to the slowly growing collection
Tractorman810
last email I sent came back as un know. , must confess I have no idea if it was that one mind , think it was off his website mind , last phone call I made ( think it was the number above) from his website anyway , rang out as NU or not existing, he even walks away at shows in the opposite direction. ? I have no doubt his works good , I just find it frustrating he's got orders to do , he took 8 or 9 mf 1250's alone that day after my first one , yet doesn't do his back orders , I suspect your bits are not long term order waits , year tops maybe , I will have another try when I get home ,
Popular Post Valley Axe Man
The latest addition to the collection.... in the shape of a Quickfencer to accompany my Parmiter post knocker..... All I need now is a supply of fencing stoops, a roll of sheep netting or three and maybe the odd roll of scale barb wire and were in business
Popular Post Valley Axe Man
Latest arrival so time for a little update ....another weapon for the fencing side of things in the shape of one of Andy's QuickFencers fitted up with Parmiter Knocker, the OEM fitted with a Bryce but the chain driven Parmiter being available is what was opted for to keep costs down on new tooling..... hoping now that over winter a bit of fencing work will put these bits of kit to good use
mb86
Another fantastic model. I can't get over how accurate and realistic the machinery you have in your collection is Paul. I know it is in 16th and being a bigger scale will make it easier but it is incredible.

Valley Axe Man
Cheers for all the comments and likes, lads Very much appreciated There is or was a similar outfit on a County 1174 I think it was parked at a fencing contractors yard just of the A66, There is scope for a lot of detail to go to 16th Martin, and credit to Andy for getting it in there in the first place, There's a few more of Andy's models I'd like but will see what happens over the next few years....
