Stabliofarmer
The forage harvester is the model designed with the input of the winner of the competition Britains held for biggest Britains collector I believe.

alf aphid
Ah good news. Been looking forwards to this one, it's one less conversion I have to do. Had an old orange britains one ready for transformation ! Although I suspect I will have to paint it.
bluegreen
Yep, you will have to remove stickers ,buy green and yellow spraycans and extend spout while your at it.................and probably have to buy new stickers as well !!! Perfect timing by Britains as usual as the grass cutting season has just finished....................at least theres plenty of time to do the above before next seasons campaign. CMB
As well as the already mentioned spout being a little short, it would have been nice to have the cavity underneath either closed off or have the chopping cylinder and feed rolls visable. Other than that faultless for me.
Tractorman810
i am curious now after all the comments , what was the reason given for it having a short spout?? sure i saw mention of it somewhere . i wouldnt know if it was right or wrong to be honest

CX820Joe
The article states that originally it was going to have a longer spout but the chappie who owned the real ones didn't think it looked right compared to his examples (4 of them) and so after emailing Britains it was altered. Didn't think it would be allowed to take a phone photo of the article and post on here.
Tractorman810
cheers joe, had a quick google and i couldnt find that many pics of real ones, but the two decent ones i did find had one long and one short spout, and the long one didnt look that much longer to me . bar the extra suport say 2/3 ft,
alf aphid
The spout is a different shape on the long version, there is also a spacer between the yellow spout and green funnel, I guess designed for side loading.
Tractorman810
to be honest most of the pics i have found seem to be short spouts with the spacer giving height
