Thanks Sean, yes, the bucket on the back actor is removable, I intend to make a trenching bucket and a wider digging bucket, and also a large bucket for the front, as per the real one that she's based on. 844john
Thanks for the kind words everyone, it has certainly eaten up some time this build, it's nice to see it coming to an end!
Popular Post 844john
Almost there! Cab glazed, some more pipework and other bits and pieces added, and a grain bucket made for it. Just a few more decals to add, and I'll probably see something else I've missed, but here she is, just debating whether to age/weather her a bit or leave as she is.
Ferret90
Blimey John, looks exellent! Nice bit of weathering on the tires. Personally, I would leave it as it is weathering wise 2
alf aphid
Agreed! I’d be worried about ruining it after all that work! Don’t touch it!!! Step away ive said it before, I’ll say it again- brilliant 1
mb86
Stunning John, absolutely faultless. My uncle used to own one the same so great to see one done in 32nd scale.
844john
Thanks for the kind comments lads, it's certainly nice to see it finished (apart from a few decals). It's not really obvious in the pictures, but when gluing the pipes on the loader I carelessly dropped two big blobs of superglue on the bonnet I've cleaned it up as best as i could, but it no longer has the shine and finish that it did, hence the thoughts of weathering. When looking at the model no one seems to notice it unless i point it out, but i know its there, so still just pondering what to do at the moment

No one else does.
844john
There's still plenty of faults with it in my eyes Alastair, it's just that some are more obvious than others!

Ferret90
The problem I find with weathering is to get it to look real, the paint has to be matte but you have gone to all the time and effort of getting a really good paint finish

Tractorman810
honestly john ,when you go to that much effort scratch building a item like that, i say leave her as new, i do with all of mine, seems such a waste of the work put into it, off the shelf stuff yeah, fine with that ,had you not mentioned the glue marks no one would have known thats for sure
844john
Thanks Sean, I think you're right, the general opinion is leave it as is, so that's how it will stay......I think
