844john
Thanks all! They're not quite finished yet, still a few bits to add, steering wheels, decals etc, but the end is in sight for this pair!

Thanks Paul, yes, it's a Northrop 5004. To be honest, i wasn't going to start any more builds until I'd had a bit of a finishing session, but the 101 was actually quite a quick build and i enjoyed doing it, and seeing as the Northrop is really the pre cursor for the Muir Hills, and build wise it shares many similarities, i couldn't resist this one

sipher172
Wow, that is looking really good. I have no idea how you keep the lines all so straight and symmetrical on your models.
844john
Thank you, I think it's mostly luck, I've had plenty that haven't been that straight in the past To be honest, I do spend a fair bit of time marking out and lining up as i build to try and get a good fit as if something is out of true it stands out like a sore thumb! Stephen wall
hi John would you be interested in selling we ran 3 back in the day to load turf and then to pull out fields I’ll pay good money thanks Steve wall 07506034270 On 5/23/2020 at 5:43 PM, 844john said: Some progress on the big one, many thanks to John (JEP) for help with photos of the back end. The 171 is different to the smaller Muir Hills in that its linkage is mounted on a sub frame separate from the skid unit. There were a few grey areas, but we got there in the end
