yeah they come off i recon, but its deffo. a euro look one, which is to be expected , i have not done it yet mind till i find a uk look replacement ,  dont think they look high ,may have been the angle the pics were taken, no i havent tried a britains duplex on it, have a yellow one in the shed so could do, although in all honesty i have only ever seen 1 ,a 165 , with one fitted for real, and that was sold a few years back from a farm not that far away from ours ,5 miles ,and passed the farm regularly  and i had never seen it before that either

here you go nige, in all honesty i doubt you would ever see a “super 8 “100 series with one, as i think they were long gone by the time these came out, would have all been flexi, and delux cabs on them . i not sure they were around that long even with the 100/5’s to be honest

britains one doesn't fit that well to the uh base, arches are out as well

Thanks sean so it does fit not too bad i saw 2 big mf 100 series in classic tractor a few months ago allong with a 135 in a row one of the 2 big ones had the loader on it all three of them had the duplo caba on them i see that lad on fb is selling flexi cabs they are wuite good but ild love to see one done with all yourframework on  you can get those electric heated bag sealers i(JML ..i think) was thinking if you got the right colours and cur them to shspe and sealed all of the cur shapes in there colours red white clear  ect very fidfly but once fitted it you coukd use some sort of hadener it might even all mould for casting

And if memory serves me well you got the perfect thing to practice on ...your 1/16th massey 135 with cab frame

I have made a little more progress on the Claydon Terrablade.  Just need to add the rams and depth wheels now.

I also managed to pick up a damaged Precision John Deere 8530 cheaply.  So I decided to chop into the model a little so the Dave Twose half tracks and front wide wheels would fit better than on my original 8530.

mm not sure on this version for the cladding just yet, may add a few bits to get the final shape right first blend the corners in ect ,and see how it looks then otherwise the  next attempt is something i have seen the model rail guys do for coverings i think, also got a more uk look front weight hanger sorted, had to trim the weight block down by 1 section to get it to fit though, which isnt that big an issue .

Lovely builds on the go Chris, looking forward to seeing the forward control, a Knight I assume? I've seen a couple of half-hearted efforts but I'm sure you can make something truly befitting of the real vehicle!

I have had the model on hold as I have been looking for donor booms, as I haven't found any the plan has been to make them.  I started that process today, making decent progress.  My new problem is making the 180 degree pivot for the 2nd stage of the booms.
