Whats on your workbench???

Recommended Posts

Bit more done to the trimmer, got first coat of paint on got too cold to get a second so will do another tomorrow. Also got the wheels sprayed up and the front axle built for the tractor. It was part of a scrap Leyland I purchased missing parts but will be perfect for this job mounted permanently. Also sneak peak of another project in the background 😉PXL_20221127_181743992.thumb.jpg.e8fed318283fd4e5256d9a7c4f90d1ed.jpgPXL_20221127_182435007.thumb.jpg.024f1a32deeab60bccd82e9606669341.jpgPXL_20221127_181740966.thumb.jpg.a0f07f7422f32f117f658e2a9fc60e4a.jpg

Another small project finished off, Marge ford 5610 that has been fitted with a new front axle and imber wheels all round, then a pair of John Deere link arms at the rear. I bought it unfinished just finished it off and painted the axle and linkage this evening and also made the steps blue as per standard for force II. More UK spec tractor than the standard Marge offering(and yes the shaving brush is my way of dusting models 👌😆 it's very effective and soft on them)

finally got back to a bit of printing ,and something i have wanted to do for a while, one one james resin ford d series, printed chassis, with working steering, and a drop side tipper, which will have a couple of runs round of greedy boards as well, ,we did have one of these(single axel) for a few years before we bought a leyland constructor for our grain wagon, so a little artistic imagination here, but the body's much the same  .nothings fixed yet, just a mock up to make sure i have all the dimensions right .

Liking that a lot Sean, Classic 70's Farm Grain truck. Excellent job. Look forward to seeing it finished - Your MF or JD combine unloading into it!!

Did you print the wheels yourself?

Brush is a good tip

I've tried a few things over the years and it's proved the best, it's soft and delicate doesn't knock beacons or mirrors off, and with so many bristles can get right in tight areas

not fixed properly yet, but something i have wanted to do since the replicagri 188’s came out, uh 1200(work in progress) with a 188 back end grafted in, so proper(not acurate) working 3 point rear end, this is what i have been buying up 3 d printed implements for ,seeing as the brushwood scrap  sale has provided me 2 cheap 188’s  i had a go. still need to sort the top link mount, and surround for the hydralics ect at the rear

Don't know if these would be any interest to you Sean, But brass turnbuckles make good and adjustable top links from Cornwall boats,
