Whats on your workbench???

Recommended Posts

rear end pretty much all done now, bar figuring out a pin or something so it will hold the plough up in transport mode, its a little to heavy for it, plenty strong  enough with the resin implements not to worry  about ,i may leave that for the 1250 so i could have a pair working in the field .

also primed up the implements, and 2725 bonnet and wheels ready for top coats, two implements will prob be ransomes blue(need to get that)

A bale grab that is complete as of last night except for painting. Already designing version 2 to aid in consistency.

Got a grand total of 8 things (and counting) to paint but not doing them until I have enough to justify opening new jar of Primer.

Its on the trusty JCB.. version 2 (if i get round to building it) should allow the brackets to be changed.

i've got numerous designs made, just not had the time / inclination to do the physical bit :D.

If anyone is keeping score. the Shed is still in bits waiting for suitable roofing material to be found. Have made a template for the sheets.

That cab looks a little drafty around the ankles Sean😁.......................And to think todays modern drivers complain if theres a squeak in their luxury laiden cab!

they werent that bad to be honest phil, yeah it got up under the floor, as basicly bar the running boards there wasnt one, it was much more a rain cover than wind proof, roll the rear sheet down, and the engine covers out and it was way easier than nothing at all

Been tinkering with a Britains Series land rover. I'd seen alot of weathered and resprayed examples and started to see what sort of potential these have. I then dug into the archive to see that Damien (JCB bloke noticed this potential years ago).

Anyway, so far pick up canopy, 3d grille, 6.50 (Near side) and 9.00 (Off Side) tyres with rims. Pretty happy with how it's going so far.

Cheers Joe, got alittle more done this evening. No I never saw them, we always travelled up through Glasgow-Stirling-Perth so Lix Till was abit out of the way. I've had a good root around the example on display at the Gaydon motor museum though, there was one restored abit up the road from home in Huddersfield but I've never seen it in the flesh. Forestry rover is also on the build list though! (Both the Lix Toll vehicles are in Brazil now I think)
