Whats on your workbench???

Recommended Posts

I managed to find some time to bring my Massey 8220 up todate,  painted its roof with Humbrol silver as its darker than the Revell I had used more recently on a 7726.

Ive weathered the front weight and the exhaust stack. Im still waiting on Henry Walker for various decals.

I sprayed the front wheels Sapphire grey, and now just have the rears to sort.

I've taken the plunge and altered the 2 Schuco 7800s I bought around Christmas time to a 7710 and 7810 with stickers from Henri Walker.  My eyesight isn't what if used to be and neither have I got a steady hand so the cutting out isn't great and so I didn't quite remove all the white.  Still, I am content to have a 7710 and 7810.

I think the postage is quite pricey from Farmmodels nl as well isn't it?  I prefer stickers to decals really as I always manage to break them!

thats why its easier to order them through mandy at hlt, she pays the postage on a bulk order thats cheaper than a single order, natrualy puts a little on, but my last order was a fair bit cheaper via her than going direct, sadly he wasnt as zwolle this year, so i couldn't do a pre bulk order

start of a new flexi cab for the 165 after a small mishap involving a cat, an open door ,2 mins getting something followed by  my size 12’s 😡😡😡 had been putting the final glazing in before it happened as well, only bit salvaged was the rear sheet 😆😆.

also got the door hinges and handle sorted on the 590 , and start of the front tombstone extension for the weight hanger

It was a toss up between a simple square chassis or make it more fiddly but with the old school triangle chassis. Looks like you've wrangled it into shape though!

Abit of work this weekend on the Cuthbertson Land Rover, decided to 3D print everything so that I can quickly make another. Just got to tackle the track grousers now, I have a plan for that which includes latex 😮

I'd love a play with some flexible resin but at £100 a kilo I can't justify it just yet! Going to use 3d printed grousers a latex strips for the rubber section. Hoping to try the same with my Pisten Bully for some more realistic grousers.

£100 per kilo, is that Resin, a half kilo of filament even through Amazon is only £16.99, hard to imagine tpu on a resin printer though, ??

Joe.
