I decided to replace the rear wheels and tyres on the 3095, got the wheels off an Claas Ares 577.

And also been swapping tyres and wheels about on the 8740S, finally looks right with chunkier front tyres and a replica R42 (34mm Dia) rear rim on the original 67mm diameter tyres😎

And new TNS decals courtesy of our old friend Henri Walker.

More Massey's, this time I've finished changing the rear wheels on my 8220 Xtra

to the ones used on virtually all the 8220's I saw in my area back in 99-2003 era.

TNS ran a pair of demo tractors with the same rim set up back at Otley college in 1999, an 8220 and this 8210.

I aged the front weight and exhaust, then put a 2003 reg plate on her.

Rescue and restore  by may i hope but with a twist  the MFs are going to be 575s and 590s  as i dont like the shape for 595s  britains ment for it to be a 590 hence 1977 590  the ford will be a 5600   the 135s all cabbed up one loader yellow one loader red with grey muck for the deutz will be restored pollished and sold on as ive no menta value connected to that brand of tractor

That looks very smart Sean, you'd be hard pressed to identify that it had been 3D printed

cheers martin, to be honest up close you would, its not that great a finish, filler and filler primer helps,i  seem to be struggling with getting the filament to bond together properly at the mo, so not getting good strength to it , in places it almost looks like the pages of a book, no idea why, i have not changed anything, so back to practising again now

Ambient temperature will make a helluva difference to FDM filament prints Sean, I've had some disappointing prints these last few months, even an open door causing a slight draught can upset things.

Regards

Joe.

yeah, luckily its in spare room, next to a rad, no drafts. but i cant get the stuff to stick, put the temp up and thats helped, but if you rub across the base, its just like the pages of a book😆😆😆 really weird as it was fine before, just rough, nothing a sand down couldn't deal with ,
